Have bought 5 of these over the last few years to control 500-900w heaters in ponds. The reason I bought so many is because initially they seemed to work fine. I've replaced 3 under 'warranty' where you have to pay shipping and 2 more have failed in the past few weeks. The biggest problem I've encountered is the temperature sensor drift. This is an excellent device for the money. I originally bought this unit because my Finnex heater was not showing the correct temperature. After purchasing it, I realized why no one had one of these? At least everyone who cares about their fish or their investment. I have a lot of discus in my aquarium so this is really a must have. Some people can use this to control heating.
