Rubbish, I bought 2 of these, 1 for my lizard and 1 for my snake and they are so far from accurate it's mind blowing. Both worked fine for a few days but now they can't control the temperature for a damn thing. I set it to 77 and 78. What are the actual temperatures in my snake tank during the night? Somewhere between 74 and 80 degrees, which may not seem like much, but is totally unacceptable for reptiles. The displayed temperature will jump up and down by up to 2 degrees without actually changing the tank. They tout this thing as some sort of precision instrument, and I wouldn't be surprised if it could harm an animal. So now I have $75 worth of useless junk, great!
