When you lift the vacuum cleaner by the handle, sometimes the upper half detaches from the lower one. This sometimes results in you spilling the contents of the tank all over your work area. I find that the cheap plastic fasteners that hold the top and bottom halves of the vacuum together wear out in less than a year with light use so they don't snag anymore. Lips of the other half to hold the vacuum together. This design flaw is difficult to explain, but it would have been obvious if I had seen and touched this vacuum before I bought it. The plastic used seems unsuitable for the application, for example one that will come off in less than a year! Of course, this part wore out a few months after the return window closed. Now I have to come up with something that should be a professional vacuum cleaner. TSK tsk. Should have gone with Ridgid.
