I was looking for a quiet fan to ventilate a partially enclosed computer shelf that is easy to install and quiet. I used a few fans that could be used as jet engine sound props in movies and spent extra money on a computer case to keep things quiet. I saw a few tones of hum or vibration and was ready to get the job done if needed, but thankfully I haven't had any issues with this fan. Installation took about ten minutes including the capture tools and the instructions were very easy to follow. If you've ever built or upgraded a computer, you could even do it without a guide. The fan ran almost continuously for several months and I was very satisfied with the cooling effect, less dust in the computer case and no noise. That doesn't mean the fan is completely silent, it just means I can't tell it apart from the other fans in my system because of the slight hum. Overall I can say that this is a good option for a cabinet fan at a very reasonable price.
