Good starter kit
Glad I got these as starter crocheting supplies. They are very light and I think they break very easily. One of them had splinters on the top and the sanding board took care of that. On the plus side, the cables are very long and I love all the colors. If you don't expect superior craftsmanship, this will do.

Use cation when buying cheap wooden needles. These are not smooth in spots and shreds the yarn.
