Review on Gigabyte M27Q-SA 27" Monitor: Response FreeSync, 2560X1440P, 170Hz | Flicker-Free, Height & Tilt Adjustment, Blue Light Filter | HD Display by Aaron Bowles

Revainrating 4 out of 5

8-bit color above 120 Hz only

Overall, this is a good gaming display, but I'd like to point out something that no one has mentioned yet. This display only supports 10-bit color up to 120Hz. If you select a refresh rate above 120Hz, 8-bit color will be used. While my other gaming display only supports up to 144Hz, it can support 10-bit color at that refresh rate. So if you're using this monitor for both gaming and production work, you may need to switch between 170Hz for gaming and then back to 120Hz to ensure color accuracy. While I can just leave it at 144 Hz on my other monitor.
