Light bleeding, updated

The monitors are great except the light glare is so terrible that even after troubleshooting and watching a fix video it didn't get any better. Didn't buy new monitors at this price to see blurry images. You can easily spend money on oeldEdit: 2/7/2022 From 1 to 3 stars Firstly, it is OLED. uh Second, after further research I was disappointed to find that it was both Backlight Bleeding and ISP Glow. I think now I understand that this is part of the technology? But. Doesn't this mean that ISP technology is inherently flawed? It seems silly to make monitors to show by default, but did we make it so that your image will automatically blur on its own? To add insult to injury, the glow and bleeding only seems to get worse over time. I promise I'll stop whining about it after that, as I realize this type of panel has been around long enough that it seems like it's just been adopted. Well, more monitors themselves. I've played roulette like many others and had better luck with the accompanying monitor I got. There was still glow, but at a much more acceptable level. It's still hard for me to understand that this is an accepted part of technology. As far as real monitors go, aside from those literal glare issues, these monitors are pretty good. I wasn't expecting a half joystick button to adjust monitor settings, but other than being behind the monitor, it's pretty convenient to use, even better than I thought. I wasn't a huge fan of them building it with part of the screen as the bezel, but I think I share that and yet the bezel edge size is smaller than my other monitors. I mounted these monitors on a bracket so I can't speak to their standard base although they did appear to have the weight and quality. I was willing to do some work and troubleshooting to fix the glow and bleed issues, but I don't see a way to loosen the bezel to possibly reduce at least some of the backlight leakage, but I think it is it is possible that it is built in this way for people so as not to void the warranty. For games this hasn't been a noticeable problem unless I'm looking for it, even with a lot of dark colors in the games I play. For coding/simple everyday use it wasn't a problem at all, for movies/tv shows it's terrible, it's very distracting and ruins any dark colors on the screen. I've tried all homemade methods to solve these problems that don't invalidate anything and it didn't work at all. I am in the process of replacing a monitor and am hoping for the best that I get the quality of a related monitor or better. If you have bothered to learn ISP type panels then from my experience I would say these are great monitors. . If you're like me and it's been more than 7 years since you updated a lot of hardware in your computer. There are other options, but it's either a huge jump in OLED price, or you have other but no less annoying issues to deal with. Of course, these are all opinions, I'm not an expert and may have overlooked something in my personal research. Good Hunt.
