Review on WODFitters Resistance Bands For Pull Up Assistance, Stretching, Mobility Workouts, Warm Up, Recovery, Powerlifting, Home Fitness And Exercise… by Charles Barney

Revainrating 5 out of 5

So far so good! good for me

I bought 4 of these separately (in retrospect probably should have bought the 4 pack) - essentially I purchased every color except the thickest blue band; this way I could slowly taper down to complete my summertime goal of being able to do a set of 3 full range of motion unassisted chin-ups (from a starting point of barely being able to hang from the bar so this seemed like an insurmountable goal). These are a very high quality and I love that when hung they all come to the same length so you can easily use more than one at once like I am. I put my knee through since my door frame isn't really tall enough to allow the pull up bar and me to do chin-ups standing straight. With a bent knee you get less resistance so hence I wound up buying more than I originally thought I needed. At first I just bought green, which gives about 120 pounds of help standing but 50 with a bent knee. 50 was slightly too little for my 5'7 145 pound frame that couldn't do any chin-ups. So right now instead I'm using the 50 plus the 30 pound band for 80 pounds of resistance and once I can do 5 straight with perfect form I'll taper down to 70, then 60 etc. You get the idea. These are great, high quality bands; company very easy to work with. Highly recommend!
