I deliberately delayed reviewing this cover as I wanted to get quite a lot of miles on it first. So far this case has exceeded my expectations, it works perfectly, just like the original. I was very skeptical when I read that these A/M parts could fail soon and are not properly designed, but I couldn't afford to buy them at the time I needed to make the repair. I have a 12"N20 6spd MT, the gasket on my original cap failed at 75K. I did the swap myself at 80k and now 100k on the clock with no problems. No CEL, no weird noises etc. *I'm not a mechanic , this job took just over 6 hours with the help of FCPE's excellent YT video * Make sure you buy all the gaskets for this project as there is only a 'standard/main' gasket plus a rear vacuum gasket I personally removed the supplied gasket and ordered the original gasket just to be safe.You will also need to purchase a gasket for the eccentric shaft and fuel pump.
