Bought this item to attach a light to a helmet using a GoPro mount. Works great with the mounts I had and am very happy with the product. The only problem that is quickly resolved with a file or reuse is that the trail leading into the lantern was a bit narrow the first time. After 10 seconds of repeatedly sliding in and out, it seemed to work perfectly. I mainly use it for night cycling and so far the system has withstood all the bumps and rattles in testing. The light doesn't move and stays in place throughout my ride. Highly recommend if you are looking for a way to mount a NiteRider headlight to your helmet.
