This Genie Vintage Garage Door Opener Screw Drive Oil is a miracle in a tube! We just bought a vacation home with this ScrewDrive door opener. It was so chatty and loud that I swear it woke the neighbors up every time we opened it. My husband was watching youtube videos on what to use and how to make the door opener quieter. I went to Revain and bought a multipack (which will most likely be your first time using 2 tubes). It is very easy to apply the fix. Simply spray the length of the bolt with the garage door open, then run your index finger (wear gloves) down the length of the bolt and distribute the lubricant evenly throughout the bolt channel. Then open and close the door as far as it will go. That's all. We used 2 tubes and there were no drips. The grease stayed in place and my door lock is not as quiet and runs smoothly. Hubby also used WD40 Specialist White lithium spray on the rollers and tracks and on the door panel hinges. This product is highly recommended!
