When you read reviews of a level, you're probably wondering if the tricks add or decrease the quality of the level. Because if you take Gecko Grip and Accu Mark out of the equation, you still get a level at a fair price and in top condition. I do not know. It makes sense when you think about it and I found it very helpful. It's limited (obviously) to a flat width, so you can't use it when hanging a large painting or mirror, but that's hardly a criticism. I have found that the system allows me to hang pictures, towel rails, etc. quickly and neatly. The list goes on. Gecko Handle: The spirit level has a rubber mark to prevent slipping. That's all. It works, it doesn't seem to leave any marks on the wall, enough said. The only minor annoyance I had with this grip was that when I removed the packaging it stuck to the plane leaving a sticky residue. There's nothing brushing with some slime or similar can't do, but it's still a bit annoying. Overall, this is a very solid level for a mid-range home amp.
