Purchased because it is a DVR and radar detector in one. Both work pretty well. But the built-in Wi-Fi is so slow that transferring large 1080p files is pointless. The best I can do is set up the device for 5 minute 720p clips so it can stream to the phone at any speed. I am very disappointed with the wireless transmission speed. Poor night vision by default. I haven't messed around with the settings, maybe that can be fixed. It's too dark at night. Daylight shots are at least okay. The mounting system is fine, but I bought a mirror mount with a mirror power cable. This cleans it a lot and makes it much stronger. All in all it's a pretty good little system. That's half the price of the Cobra Road Scout. Since neither of them have the option to add a rear camera, I just couldn't put more money into it than I could. I recommend the Whistler Mfu440, but only for those looking for an all-in-one system.
