Starts falling off windshield and shaking badly, wish I put my money in it but I think so , it does the job. Instead, I ordered a cobra.

The plastic bracket broke after about 3 weeks of use. The bracket that holds the suction cup to the windshield is very cheaply made and will eventually break and fall off. Mine did.

This Whistler Radar/DVR works great! The biggest benefit of owning this car is that it has a DVR built into the radar detector. The image from the dash cam is clear and the phone app is easy to use and set up. The range of the detector is also good. The windshield mount is a single large suction cup. I like it conceptually better than the standard detector suction cups, but the included mount wobbles too much when driving. Otherwise I am very happy with my purchase!

My speed was recorded on video which is a great feature. But the radar detector wasn't nearly as good as my existing Whistler CR93. Higher resolution capture modes don't play with my iPhone, which ruined the whole idea of Wi-Fi instant playback. Anyway, transferring data to my iPhone over Wi-Fi is too slow to be practical. Purchased because it is a DVR and radar detector in one. Both work pretty well. But the built-in Wi-Fi is so slow that transferring large 1080p files is pointless. The best I can do is set up the device for 5 minute 720p clips so it can stream to the phone at any speed. I am very disappointed with the wireless transmission speed. Poor night vision by default. Pretty good detector for the price, the video is a slightly different story. The WiFi is so terribly slow and I can't save videos to my phone. It takes 15 minutes to go through the save to phone process only to tell you it can't save to iOS at the end. Fun. You can easily delete the cars and download them to your computer, but that doesn't help if you need a video clip right now.
