Review on ⏰ GE 24-Hour Heavy Duty Indoor Plug-in Mechanical Timer: Convenient Daily On/Off Cycle for Lamps, Christmas Lights, and Holiday Decorations by Dean Wilson

Update 10/01/21: I removed this timer after realizing it wasn't working (that was after the return window) and pulled it out last week whereby I forgot the problem. Now it works correctly. I don't know what the problem was, maybe the light I was trying to run with was too strong? Maybe something inside has fallen into place? Whatever it was, it works fine now. Time goes by as it should, the light goes on/off, there is nothing to worry about. I am leaving my initial one star review as this amount of inconsistency is unacceptable. First feedback: I use these timers all the time at work, so it's very convenient for me to set up and troubleshoot. Unfortunately this one is broken. Everything works except the timer function, which makes it useless (unless you need two sockets in a thick plastic case). The timer function worked in a test of 25 attempts. During the other 24 tests, the "current time" never changed, leaving the device (the light in my case) either on or off indefinitely, depending on where it was set in the cycle.
