Review on πŸ”§ Sunex 212ZUMDL Driveline Socket: Premium Performance for Driveline Maintenance" by Fernando Beck

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Will not fit front end of 4x4 driveshaft differential.

I bought this to remove the front driveshaft on a '07 Ford F150 Lariat. It worked well on the transfer case linkage, but was too bulky to use on the end of the driveshaft that attaches to the front differential. (This means the perimeter of the clutch was too thick to allow a direct connection with the transmission bolt.) I ended up having to find a 12mm 12-point wrench to remove these transmission bolts. If I had known that, I would have bought another punch head with a thinner head. I think it's somewhere on Revane. Hopefully this review will keep someone from buying the F150 4x4. If you can screw it on, it seems to work the way you intend it to.

Pros
  • Individual picks
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
