Buy the right tools. Matters

Used on my F250 Superduty powertrain. Worked great. You no longer need an extension cord or a separate swivel that can fly apart.

worked great! - Sockets and Socket Sets

This allowed me to tighten all the bolts on the rear driveshaft on my F250 without having to turn the driveshaft and it was quick! Definitely recommend this product and the seller!

Pros
  • Hand Tools
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Vague description for this item

Fits the rear fork/rear flange on my Ranger 04 but not the front flange. There is not enough space for a socket. Perhaps a 12mm 12 point punch with your own 3/8 universal chuck will suffice. Haven't tried that yet.

Pros
  • Triple Square Drive

Will not fit front end of 4x4 driveshaft differential.

I bought this to remove the front driveshaft on a '07 Ford F150 Lariat. It worked well on the transfer case linkage, but was too bulky to use on the end of the driveshaft that attaches to the front differential. (This means the perimeter of the clutch was too thick to allow a direct connection with the transmission bolt.) I ended up having to find a 12mm 12-point wrench to remove these transmission bolts. If I had known that, I would have bought another punch head with a thinner head. I think…

Pros
  • Individual picks
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
