Review on 🦜 GILYGI 20.5 inch Parrot Chewing Toys: Wooden Block Tearing and Cotton Rope Toys for Various Parrot Species by Rebecca Guerra

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Soft but thin and small with unstable attachment

I have five parrots of different sizes and was hoping this toy would match my scarlet macaw which is the same size as the photoshopped African Gray in the ad. It is not. The toy measures about 20 inches from the D-ring to the bottom thread, but about 8 inches of that length is just a piece of cotton shown in the first photo. Which leads to the next question. Most good parrot toys are attached to a strong chain or other strong material to support the weight of the toy and prevent the parrot from chewing through the bracket, rendering the entire toy useless. Sengal parrot as it fits him better in size. Each wooden ball is about an inch in diameter and the cotton cords are one-quarter to one-half inch thick. Also, the cords are not VERY soft. So if you have gum, make sure there aren't any strings sticking out that could tangle around your toe. The toy has been in its habitat for about 3 days. He climbed on it a little, but otherwise showed little interest. While colorful, it lacks the variety in texture or shape to really interest parrots.

Pros

Cons
