Safety, won't snag
My cats are active (mouse season, 3-5 cats a day) and too easy to remove. They rarely stay for more than a few hours at best and we find them all over the garden. I suppose they should be easy to loosen for safety reasons, but it's like ski bindings, too light and they'll loosen, too tight and you could hurt yourself. For me it was a good try at best
