Review on AMVR Facial Interface Replacement Comfort by James Stjames

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not impressed, too expensive, a few issues

I wasn't impressed at all. Much easier to get started with all the downsides: - Rubber nose pad is awkward to put on - Plastic frame feels incredibly cheap and poorly made, edges are sharp (thankfully the sharp parts are hidden inside the headset once it's installed) - I found that when using this panel light, there was even more bleeding than a standard bezel, including around the edges and nose. Some of the lather piles up at the curve where your forehead goes. so that the sensor that turns on the headset does not work. When I first installed this, it covered the sensor enough that the headset was always on even when I took it off - way overpriced for what you get. $10-$15 maybe $20 tops would be much better suited - I found the standard foam much more comfortable. Pros: - the velcro that holds the foam is decent - it can be easily removed and washed well, can also be quickly wiped clean

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Functionality

Comfortable facial interface, as long as the Velcro holds, and way easier to keep clean.
