After 7 months, the lower (longer) side panels will begin to deform and fall apart. The back comes out of the grooves and becomes unstable. Eventually the shelves collapse. Because it is made of chipboard, it is very fragile and difficult to repair. The clips holding the two pieces together won't work the second time around. If you are in an air-conditioned apartment, this may not be a problem. This is clearly the case in my neighbor's house. I would not have bought this product if I had known this was going to happen. Take evening classes and learn very few woodworking skills. You'll probably do better as a first project, too. And you can tell your friends.
