I had high hopes, but.

I wanted this to work on boiled eggs as I've already gone through two other products with wires. This product is very sturdy. So sturdy that the blades are too thick for cutting nice slices. Eggs get crushed through the blades and look ragged. And cleaning is a nightmare. A paring knife is now my choice instead. Haven't tried it on other fruits or veggies. Maybe it would be better on something other than eggs.

Slicing green olives. Works great.

Cons

The egg slicer may crush the egg instead of slicing it, making it less user-friendly
