These doorstops are great. It's so nice when the doors don't slam in the middle of the night when the wind picks up! And they look very beautiful. I couldn't be happier. after i said it The magnetic adhesion of these plugs is excellent. So big, in fact, that the magnetic handle can overcome the self-adhesive tape (if you use it alone) to attach these stoppers. My suggestion: First position the locking elements with self-adhesive tape on the door and the adjacent wall (or floor) and then fix these elements securely with the provided screws. At first I tried to use only self-adhesive tape, but after a few days I realized that sometimes an element came off, either on the door, on the floor or on the wall. Self-adhesive tape is quite sticky. just need a little more grip. I used screws to provide extra support. Using screws alone in the wall plate might not be the best long-term solution, but I'm sure using screws (even in the wall plate) along with self-adhesive tape will do the trick.
