Ideal for high mileage vehicles that can use slightly lower pressure than the 16psi listed.
I have three cars that have driven a quarter of a million miles each. They're all supposed to be 16psi caps, but at their age they have little mysterious leaks here and there. A slightly lower cap pressure will help avoid problems. I'll take two more now.
