Good part but BE CAREFUL. I found out that the older 383 cu engine had 4 different oil pan configurations! If your original pan is stamped 402. DO NOT BUY THIS PAN! This requires a different oil pan as engines with the stamped 402 oil pan had a completely different shaped oil pan than the other three-sump versions and did not clear the bottom of the oil pan. Again a good detail but in the end it didn't suit my particular 383 engine. I can only guess that it works with three other versions with a different oil pan design.
