The binoculars are comfortable to hold, well balanced. We live in a village and look at the stars and planets at dusk and at night. They collect a lot of low-level light (not night vision), which helps you see constellations and planets. When the moon comes out it's amazing how clear and BRIGHT it becomes. Also for spotting wildlife and other things to do during the day, we love them, I was surprised at how much rise they have compared to my older, smaller pair. The only two issues: when the binoculars arrived a large tab on the lens cap holder had ripped off preventing you from holding the binocular cap (doesn't matter) so my score is a 4. The only thing to remember is when you give binoculars off, everyone has a different eye area and it shifts. No one's fault, I can order another pair to keep my gear to myself and another for Mike.
