I should have bought this many years ago. The magnetic mat that came with the Ender 3 is fine. After a while adhesion became erratic and no cleaning helped. Another problem is that the 1st generation Ender bed can warp easily after prolonged use. The middle of me was low and the prints stopped sticking to the build plate more than 50% of the time. It nails flat right out of the box. I only use 2 small binding clips on the front left and back right of the plate to hold the glass. I coat the glass with Elmer's purple glue stick and clean/refresh every 3 or 4 prints; I scrape everything off with a razor and finally clean the IPA. Be sure to move the Z limit switch before you start after adding the glass, otherwise it will shatter and the glass may break instantly. Great product that has improved print reliability and made my printer a pleasure to use!
