I love my hub adapter! I bought it in an emergency because I didn't know that my new MacBook "Deluxe" didn't have any drivers installed. As soon as you plug it in, the green light will illuminate to let you know it's on and ready to go. I can't speak to all of the speed specs as I have nothing to compare to, but I haven't had any issues with a slow connection. I didn't try the 4k feature either as I didn't need to use it. What I would like to say is that the plug and play feature works exactly as intended and is the best feature for my needs. Excellent purchase, especially for the price and the fast delivery.
