This little piece isn't plastic, it's not thin, it's stronger than expected and very thin + easy to store. Just in time to transfer some files from my computer to the SD card. My computer is a few years old and doesn't have a USB-C port, so I need to order an adapter (USB-C port to USB port). After the right connection, everything works like clockwork! This little device has everything you need! I was expecting the material to be plastic but was impressed that it was metal - it definitely feels explored. I've been working far more remotely (like everyone else) since the pandemic and I've had to invest in some products to improve my home office - this is one of those products! It's lightweight and easy to carry. The price of money. I've recently been working from home, so I'm in dire need of a USB-C hub with an HDMI port. I really like this hub, it can fully meet my work needs. I use 4K HDMI extend mode to extend the screen to a larger monitor. It is very convenient to use, just plug and play. I love my hub adapter! I bought it in an emergency because I didn't know that my new MacBook "Deluxe" didn't have any drivers installed. As soon as you plug it in, the green light will illuminate to let you know it's on and ready to go.
