Review on πŸ”§ Crankbrothers M19 Multi-Tool: The Ultimate Cycling Companion, Complete with Protective Case by Larry Cothran

Revainrating 3 out of 5

They are not made of corrosion-resistant material, but they are still mechanically functional instruments.

I bought these for about $25 thinking at the time they were better quality tools than cheaper alternatives. On the positive side, the set is a little heavy, but it comes with an Allen key of any size. might want. I haven't even used some of its features. It's compact and fits into a neat little flat storage tube that fits in even the smallest saddlebags. Cons: It looks like the material these tools are made of is not stainless steel. About 3 months after purchase, rust spots started to appear on them. I've kept it in a drier environment since the spots started, which means the spots haven't gotten bigger. But at $25, I certainly expected the instruments to be made out of something more moisture-resistant material, capable of withstanding the humidity and downpours of the Northeastern US in the summer.
