Bought an XL collar for my large (double layered) dog. The inscriptions cannot be read through the fur. It has a plastic clasp instead of a metal connector, which is not good for a large dog. Then, when I get up in the middle of the night, I take him on a 100-foot run with a 30-foot lead through a floodlit backyard. Last night I saw him walking around and thought he just took his collar off. I found the D-ring and its markers still attached to the wire. I don't know where the collar is as he wasn't wearing one. I would not touch this collar for a large dog.
