I'm sure there is smell and roll corners from expensive store bought rugs and those who have to write a bad review will get some interesting ideas. A day later the smell was gone from the bag. A few days after it's been spread around the rough edges with 5 and 10 pounds, it's laying nice and even. It's so nice that our cat looks at the carpet for himself. I was looking for a rug that would give the best color saturation and warmth to the room as it is a basement. The value of a rug cannot be compared to its price and colour!
