Good light cannot make up for bad work. *Edit* Positive updated experience!

Let's talk about the good first and then the bad. The keyboard and mouse look great and the lighting effect looks really good. The devices look and feel sturdy, especially the metal base of the keyboard. The sleep functions for both devices work well and are easy to charge with the included USB charging cable or any regular cable. However, this wireless combo has serious latency and feedback issues. The keyboard sometimes even emits or logs multiple keystrokes from a single key press. It's annoying. It's also annoying that the mouse doesn't respond after a few button presses and then after six or seven presses suddenly decides it's working. This product is overpriced for the performance and my old Logitech mouse and keyboard work better. I really wanted to love this set (the rainbow effect is really nice and I love the metal keyboard base) but the price and performance forced me to initiate a return. Real shame, 2/4/2020I wrote my previous review having just received a keyboard and mouse which they have been using intermittently for a few weeks. I have a small wireless USB receiver that controls my mouse and keyboard plugged directly into the back of my PC, which is right next to my desk and monitor. This setup caused issues that led to my first negative review. At this point I decided I would return the set and get a refund. Then I remembered that I had the exact same issues with other Logitech wireless mice and/or keyboards that I own. That is, the "problems" that I will eventually solve. What has always worked for me for wireless peripherals with small receivers, like the one included in this set, is connecting the receiver to a separate Logitech USB dongle that I plugged into the back of my PC. This has always solved connectivity issues to date and this again solved the issues I was having with this set. I did not return this set as it now works very well. I'm updating my review to let everyone know about the process of the initial negative experience and eventual satisfaction. That being said, the instructions that come with this kit are so expansive that it's best to just search the internet for similar products and browse random tech web forums to figure out the best way to use this kit. The basics are the on/off buttons on the keyboard and mouse, gathering a pair of 5V charging cables, and charging devices for 5-8 hours. The mouse battery is always empty first after about a week and a half of average use. The keyboard is empty after about 3 weeks of average use. Those goodies aside, the keyboard looks and feels great, and the mouse has a quiet, non-clicky feel that'll take some getting used to if you're used to clicking devices with a mouse. Consider purchasing a separate USB dongle if you plan to purchase this set or are having trouble connecting to this or a similar set.
