Review on 🚀 Efficiency Boost: Kuhn Rikon Duromatic Push-in Si Valve for Simplified Cooking by Robin Nelson

The valve works fine BUT I don't think the installation instructions are correct. The valve comes with a small piece of thick paper with a hole in it and the instructions show how to use this paper to install the valve. Looking at the very minimal instructions, it looks like this paper is used to control how far the valve is inserted into the cap (so it's not too far). On my particular Kuhn pressure cooker, the valve would not stay in place if I installed it according to their instructions, and when I tried to use the pressure cooker with the valve in place according to their instructions, steam came out of the valve. So I pushed the valve all the way in (beyond where the paper ring could have missed) and where the valve now appears to be properly seated in the steamer lid. The steamer is now working well and the valve is working properly. NOTE: This is the correct valve for my steamer as it matches the old valve I am replacing.
