This is the second one I have ordered for my small dogs. The upper part consists of 2 parts: a rigid plastic threaded ring and a rubber spray nipple held in place by a plastic ring (like a baby bottle). I bought one over a year ago and the rubber base on the syringe nipple cracked and was leaking. Although I've used it regularly and it's cheap enough to replace. LOVE the bottle/bowl design with a spoon and it fits easily in the pocket of a dog carrier. Comes with a clip and color coded rope strap that can be hung around the neck but can be uncomfortably heavy when filled with water. I rarely use a clip or lanyard, but it's nice to have those options. Will buy again if this ever breaks.
