This cooler fits my '98 Impreza perfectly! I was concerned that I would have to buy flimsy fans for this as they are much wider than Subaru's factory radiator, but if you attach the fans to the radiator before installing the radiator you can use the originals. I have about 1/2 inch space between the straps. You need to buy 4 M6x1 screws to fix the fans as they are not included. I had to drill a tab a little wider at the bottom to allow the fan to fit in perfectly, but no big deal. Also make sure the drain plug is tight as mine arrived a little loose. I shortened my original hoses to about 3/4" and everything worked fine. I also used my original 0.9 bar radiator cap. This radiator is the perfect upgrade for a high performance subwoofer or if you simply want more power with a lifetime guarantee require.
