First of all it is a wiring harness and like all mechanical parts it either works or it doesn't. As many have pointed out, the instructions are lacking and would be virtually useless. Go to YouTube and watch the installation video - specifically about access to the pilot's cabins and under the car. If you take the time to watch the video, think carefully and review the installation steps, the installation will only take a few minutes. I probably spent a few hours surfing the web trying to figure out how to unplug the under car wiring harness connector next to the exhaust pipe, but it resulted in a smooth, clean, and easy installation. Check out the video link! As for the wiring harness, as I said, it's a wiring harness - the connectors and wires going to the connectors don't wiggle, the construction looks solid and hooking it up to the pilot's receiver ends was easy - if you get the fuse and relay Plug it into your car and connect the two ends of the connector, then that's all you need. 2015 pilots with a tow bar do NOT come with a pre-punched hole for the 7 pin connector. You'll have to cut it yourself, with a knife, rotary tool, or other tool of your choice - skill at this point will make all the difference in how your connector will look. I cut mine with a precision knife to make a nice round hole to insert a 7 pin receiver and got 4 stainless steel screws and nylon nuts from a hardware store. Stainless steel to keep them from rusting and nylon nuts to keep them from loosening. In my personal opinion much more elegant than using a Loctite profile. I did NOT buy the steel L-bracket that many people suggest - I wanted to use the hole next to the designated hitch. If you do everything right, you will not need any additional support. If you carelessly cut the hole for the 7th pin, be sure to reinforce it. Again, patience and skill when cutting the connector are key for a professional result. After I had everything installed - start to finish - took about 20 minutes including cutting the hole out, looks like it was factory installed and had no trouble carrying my trailer on a 12 hour trip, wind and rain tested. A genuine Honda part costs between $190 and $250 plus installation fees. The total price after installation was 1/3 of that price - what's not to like?
