I modified the Camp Chef Pursuit by blocking the rear vent with a steel plate and mounting this chimney against the funnel and controls. The piece is a comfortable weight and adds quality to the look and feel. Welds look good from a distance and are acceptable up close. I was most disappointed with the felt pad in the kit. The one I received was white (not black as the description says) and so brittle that it split in half between the mounting holes during shipping. To use it I had to screw the chimney on loosely and insert the two halves at the top and bottom and then tighten to press them in place. In my case the problem is compounded because the Pursuit is portable (we take it on camping trips) and I attached the chimney with wing nuts so it can be removed to avoid damage. I need to find another gasket for this to be correct.
