Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Bones Swiss Ceramic Bearings - 8mm - 16-Pack for Optimal Performance and Durability by Julius Hunter

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Simply the best for roller and inline skates

If there are better bearings, I haven't found them. I've been skating for 49 years and have been building my own skates from the best parts I could find and/or afford for 45 of those years. Now I'm 54 years old and I skate 2-3 times a week. I change 3 sets of wheels every year (yes, I only ride indoors). I have been using bone bearings for 25 years. My first set of Bones Swiss (steel, not ceramic) lasted about a year and a half with cleaning and re-lubrication every wheel change. Then, about 7 years ago, I finally got my first set of Bones Swiss Ceramics. Custom experiences aren't that different from the regular Bones Swiss, but they last a lot longer. That first set of pottery easily lasted 5 years. Then I decided to give the regular Bones Swiss and a few other "also runs" another chance. However, I am very happy to be back with the best Bones Swiss Ceramics.

Pros
  • Accelerate faster, ride faster and farther, resist dirt and moisture better. High Speed Nylon Ball Retainer for added strength and speed
Cons
