This is a switch designed for fan motors. Speed - Slider with three positions. Sliding is actually a bit difficult, but not so much that an adult can't handle it. The on/off switch is easy to use and works well. The installation is the same as any other single pole switch and is installed normally. It should be noted that the metal "face" of the switch is quite wide. In my case, I wanted to put it next to a similar Lutron dimmer, but they're actually too wide to put next to each other. They work best with a 3 piece fixture, dimmers on the end and a standard switch in between. In addition, the dimmer is quite deep and hardly fits in a flat block. Make sure you have enough space.
