How did I not discover this product many years ago?

Love love love. How did I not discover this product many years ago? The house we moved to a few years ago has remote controlled ceiling fans in the bedroom. The two fans in the bedroom never worked properly no matter how hard we tried. When we turned on the fan, it was like a giant turbine over our bed. Terrible. With this product, you can turn on the fan with a switch and the slider controls the speed. Now our fan is usable and I don't have to be afraid of our ceiling fans anymore. :)

  • Large selection

Take it. It works!

Works as advertised. What else would you like? Connect it as described. Set the fan to maximum speed (and then remove the chains if you want!). I see no difference between this switch and the circuit on the fan. There was no vibration or hum. If there was any complication at all, it's that the portion of the switch behind the wall panel is large. It took some effort to get all the wiring in my 3rd fuse box to be able to install this correctly. But you only do that once, right? So that's a small

Good switch: heating, cooling and air quality

This is a switch designed for fan motors. Speed - Slider with three positions. Sliding is actually a bit difficult, but not so much that an adult can't handle it. The on/off switch is easy to use and works well. The installation is the same as any other single pole switch and is installed normally. It should be noted that the metal "face" of the switch is quite wide. In my case, I wanted to put it next to a similar Lutron dimmer, but they're actually too wide to put next to each other. They…

Great replacement for the wrong dimmer

I had a standard incandescent dimmer. This caused my fan to hum loudly. I installed this correct dimmer and now the fan is much quieter (and probably safer in terms of durability and fire safety). It has three speeds and they are arranged in a simple "low-mid-high" slider. Much better than the spinning version that requires you to guess what fan speed you're at. They are designed for fans without a tension chain for adjusting the fan speed (those who can better adjust the speed on the fan). I…

Exactly what I was looking for

When I bought our new home I asked the contractor to pre-wire fans for all the bedrooms, sunroom and office. I wanted to be able to control the fans from the wall instead of the fan itself as it's easier for me and my kids. These switches are perfect for this purpose. The switch controls whether the fan turns on or off, and the slider to the right of the switch controls the speed. There are three speed settings, and while the positions are a little soft (it's not always obvious if the switch is
