Router/modem works well with Xfinity services so far, but there are a few issues with the instructions. The instructions are for a new product, so they tell you that the Wi-Fi name and password must match the SSID and password on the bottom of the router. Because this is an updated product and it has been used before, the Wi-Fi channel name and password have already been changed. It wasn't immediately apparent that (1) Wi-Fi was broadcasting and (2) the router had Internet access; I spent some time waiting for the promised network name SBG6700-XXXX to appear in the list of available networks. After figuring out what was going on, the solution was to follow the instructions on using the admin login to change the router information. Once I signed in I was able to see the network name and password so I could select the correct one and log into the WiFi on my computer. With that caveat, installation was relatively easy and painless.
