This labeling machine is easy to set up and install. It's smaller than other label printers I have, so that's nice. Even though it's smaller, it's still pretty heavy; While it offers the option of being portable via Bluetooth and an app, I'm not sure I can actually carry it anywhere just because it's heavy - over 2lbs. Although 2 pounds may not seem like much, it will add weight to your computer bag/briefcase. When you label things in a warehouse or similar place, it looks pretty big and clunky. He doesn't have a pen. This would be a good option for such a printer that needs to be portable. So you can find a bag to carry it. I really like being able to connect to bluetooth and create shortcuts through the app. Even if it's always on my desk, I don't necessarily need to connect it to my computer. It's very easy to create shortcuts through the app as well as a shortcut on my desktop. If you're using the desktop app, once you open the app, it gives you a variety of templates to choose from, with a total of 41 different categories of templates to choose from. I love it. However, the template must match the size of the inserted label. For example, I selected a 0.94" template but got an error message saying the ribbon loaded in the machine did not match the template size, so I had to find another template that matched the width of my label ribbon. Another aspect of this machine that I liked was how easy it was to set up and install - it was that easy; Instructions contain clear pictures with short, easy to read and understand instructions. I started the labeling machine within 10 minutes. Overall I'm very happy with this label printer, its ease of setup and installation and its Bluetooth connectivity make it a device I'm happy with. This printer comes with 2 sample label cassettes. I say "sample" because these are not full size cartridges. So you'll have to buy the ribbon cartridges separately pretty quickly. Brother offers many similar printers. It is by far the most expensive. So before you buy, check out other options to see if they meet your needs. Even if this printer can be used for mailing labels. This is not the main goal. If you are looking for an addressable printer, you should check out some of the DYMO models. Made in China.
