Be careful, chickens will eat the aspen

At first I thought these chicken nests were great. However, I quickly learned that my chickens love to eat aspen. Aspen fibers look like long worms when taken out of the nest, which is easy. This led to crop failures. The way they're packaged isn't great either. Mine was not in the plastic as shown in the product photos, just stuffed in a box. Some of them weren't even an inch thick. Not recommended.

Pros

FLEXIBLE NEST MATERIAL: The wood shavings on the surface of these chicken nests can be easily manipulated by chickens but will retain their shape
