QiMox hatchback struts were ordered at the end of February 2020 and installed on the day of receipt. They originally raised the tailgate when loaded with snow, but were too strong in warm weather when the sunroof slammed shut. At the end of December 2020 and on cold mornings, the sunroof does not go up completely by itself without a snow load. The cylinders have an obvious oil leak around the rod seals and will need to be replaced soon. Their life expectancy is less than 12 months. I wish I had gone for a more reliable albeit more expensive lift kit and used the cost of these cylinders to get lifts with a longer lifespan. Wouldn't recommend QiMox Hatchback Struts to a friend.
