Ease of installation. fits shock absorbers, struts and suspension

The cost of these struts far exceeds their competitive price. My Prius sunroof is on its last legs. Got this with Prime and installed it in less than 15 minutes. YouTube installation video to get an idea of how to do it.

 • Weight
Cons
 • Slightly cracked

Failed after a year

Easy installation and normal operation, but then suddenly - the seals failed, liquid leaked and no one helped to raise the hatch. Judging by the date of my order, I've had it between 11 and 12 months. They appear to have failed in Wisconsin in February when they parked outside (airport lot) for a week. Try a different brand this time!

 • Great design

Low quality. It's not worth it!

UPDATE:QiMox contacted me about the racks and replaced the one received. So far these shelves are working perfectly and hopefully will last a long time. I understand you can get a lemon sometimes, but performances like Jack from QiMox make customers feel important. Thank you Jack Upgrade from 1 star to 5 stars!========================================== On July 28th I bought this one and installed it as soon as possible. I should have listened to the negative comments. A month

Disappointed short life

QiMox hatchback struts were ordered at the end of February 2020 and installed on the day of receipt. They originally raised the tailgate when loaded with snow, but were too strong in warm weather when the sunroof slammed shut. At the end of December 2020 and on cold mornings, the sunroof does not go up completely by itself without a snow load. The cylinders have an obvious oil leak around the rod seals and will need to be replaced soon. Their life expectancy is less than 12 months. I wish I had

 • All is well!
Cons
 • The list will be long.

DIY Breeze good for lift legs

We wanted to replace the rear sunroof pillar legs on one of our visits to the dealership, ended up taking the car for an oil change and asked. They didn't stock any parts so while I waited in the customer area I searched Revain to see if I could order and install them myself. Dealer estimate was $220, but there they were about $200 off at the Revain. I ordered as soon as I got home from the dealer after finding a couple of YouTube videos that made the process easier. It was true! I spent more…

Too strong for a 2008 Prius

Update 7/27/2020 broke down and bought an OEM part. It cost $74 including tax and shipping, which is nearly three times the price of Revain. Ouch. You were worth it. Now I've seen the difference first hand. OEM springs have a mechanism to slow and ease the opening of the sunroof. It's not about picking up the raw pounds of power for your car, it's an additional feature that a more expensive spring adds. Imagine a screen door that is closed by a simple spring - it slams hard and your mother…

Pros
 • Constant test results
Cons
 • Could have chosen a newer model
