Review on Universal Motorcycle Bike Front Wheel Chock – ABN Removable Trailer Stopper Cradle Holder for Standard Wheels by Russell Robertson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good construction; Creates more space in the motorcycle garage!

We have these for easy storage of 3 Harley Davidson bikes in a 12ft wide shed. This makes a huge difference in not wasting the space needed to put your bikes on footpegs. We attached the pads to the bottom, which worked great since we were able to attach them from below. The steel construction is strong and durable, and the bolts are big and strong. The wedge holds the Road King and Softail Deluxe well; At first we were a bit worried about the low rear fenders hitting the wheel chock, but that's not a problem. We also have Dyna Super Glide and the pad doesn't work as well with a thinner tire. The bike can actually shift and lean (though not as much as on a footrest). It goes without saying that you should always use a footrest and not just rely on the jam stop. The front of the pad seems to be putting quite a bit of pressure on the tire so hopefully this won't cause any long term effects or damage. Bigger bikes (Road King, Deluxe) are not easy to roll off the block. Considerable strength is required and sometimes multiple attempts - a smaller person would have a hard time doing it alone (it helps if some pull from behind when rolling). They are generally good provided they hold up and don't damage the tires with long term storage.
