The product would otherwise appear normal except for the color coding issue. The parts it replaces are color coded by Subaru. The top bolt is a guide bolt, the bottom is a "locking pin" which is actually a similar bolt with a rubber bushing on the end. (Included with the cleat boot kit.) Subaru uses color-coded bolts and identifies them by color. On the original bolts, gold is the locking pin (below), green is the guide bolt (above). In this product, the guide pin is gold, the back of the original and the locking pin are silver. This kit has the gold stud on top while the OEM has it on the bottom. Of course, there are no indications or instructions in the product telling you this, so you are free to investigate the problem yourself. Unnecessary confusion caused by careless inattention to details in the design and production process.
