Review on Kefir Fermenter - Infuser 0.6L/20oz: Quick and Easy Homemade Milk or Water Kefirs! by Amber Powell

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Making kefir just got easier!

Benefits: The kefir mushroom is contained in a cylindrical cage and has a vented top (no more paper towel and rubber band needed to cover the jar) that you open and that fits into a mason jar with a small opening. You can unscrew the lid after making the kefir and put it (with the cage and kefir grains on top) straight into the next jar and just add milk for the next batch. You can pop this jar of granola and cooked yogurt in the fridge when you're not ready to do more. Mine has been consistently making excellent kefir with TBSP active grains every 12-16 hours. Cons: The grains are surrounded in the cage by a dense, thick kefir (sour cream consistency) that rises but doesn't seem to bother. kefir production. I pour the milk into the cage, shake the jar a little and break it a little, but after a week I empty the cage of the grains and clean it, which wasn't a big deal. My grains are growing fast and healthy and it's not that bad. I'm buying another one for my mom who saw mine and wanted the same one.
