Review on πŸš— Enhance Kia Vehicle Air Quality with FRAM Fresh Breeze Cabin Air Filter featuring Arm & Hammer Baking Soda by Paul Wall

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Went from a smelly old factory filter to something FRESH.

moved from a smelly old factory filter to FRESH air. The retailer wanted $45 for this filter alone. Then there is the setup fee. I haven't asked how much since I stopped them when they told me their price. I laughed all the way to Revain where I quickly ordered this inexpensive baby. All you need is Philips and five minutes. There is a YouTube video if needed. My car is a 2012 Soul, but it's the same removal method as the 10-11 models. You loosen three screws on the underside of the glove box where it meets the dash. (Done with the box closed) Open the glove box and remove the five visible screws. It is obvious. Then gently pull on the box and disconnect the glove box light wiring harness. Put it on the floor. You will see where the filter is. Take off the front case and slide out the old one. There is a small piece of plastic on the dashboard that gets in the way a LITTLE bit. So you can SLIGHTLY bend the filter to get it out. Insert a new one with the airflow arrow pointing TO THE DRIVER. Attach the clip and insert the glove box without pushing it back. Reattach the light box wiring harness. For you non-techies, it's just a white fork fit for only one occasion. It's not scary at all. Slide the box back into place, making sure the clips on the top of the box line up with the dashboard. he should sort himself out somehow. You'll know it's there when you've replaced all the screws. Do this with the five inner screws, then the three bottom/outer screws. If they all screw on without problems, you did everything right. Give yourself a pat on the back and run your car for about 30 seconds with the AC on full blast. Any old musty smell needs to be blown through the system so it smells like it used to at first, but soon dissipates. Then go in, open a beer and try not to hurt your wrists while giving others high fives.
